Your purchase of and payment for single sessions and transformational series shall be regulated by this Refund and Payment Policy. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING A PAYMENT, AS IT DETERMINES YOUR RIGHTS WITH REGARD TO YOUR PURCHASES, INCLUDING ESSENTIAL RESTRICTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS.

Munay strives to ensure a clear understanding of financial relations between Customers and Practitioners with respect to the services we provide. This policy applies to all services and features made available through the Website and any current or future Munay mobile device application (collectively, the “Munay Platform”). Capitalized terms used and not defined herein shall have the respective meanings ascribed to them in Munay Terms of Service.


Practitioner-Customer Transactions

Munay facilitates contracts between Users (Customers and Practitioners) by providing a platform to request, deliver and pay for guiding services. Munay is only a platform and in no event shall be a party to any contracts between Practitioners and Customers or be responsible for any other service or materials provided by a Practitioner. Munay may facilitate payments between Customers and Practitioners through third-party payment processors. Munay’s role is limited to providing this payment infrastructure and does not extend to guaranteeing the quality, completion, legality, or safety of any service. Munay will in no way be responsible for monitoring any transactions between Customers and Practitioners.

Munay does not warrant, endorse, or guarantee any services offered by Practitioners, nor the accuracy of information provided by Customers or Practitioners. Munay is not responsible for errors, delays, chargebacks, or disputes arising from third-party payment processors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Munay disclaims any legal responsibility, liability, or damages arising from interactions between Customers and Practitioners. Customers and Practitioners agree that Munay shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income, opportunities, or goodwill. Munay does not provide insurance and assumes no fiduciary duty to Customers or Practitioners. All disputes between Customers and Practitioners must be resolved directly between those parties, and Munay shall not be named or joined as a party in any legal proceedings between Customers and Practitioners. No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created between Munay and any Customer or Practitioner. Munay shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, strikes, internet outages, or governmental actions. Munay may assist in dispute resolution, at its discretion, but is not a guarantor of service quality


Billing Currency and Foreign Exchange Risk

Payment transactions will be processed in USD. The prices you see in currencies other than USD are indicative (for guidance only). Prices displayed in currencies other than USD are for reference only and are not binding exchange rates.

Note that if your selected currency is different from your payment method’s billing currency, your payment may be processed outside of your country of residence. As a result, certain fees may apply, such as international transaction fees and foreign exchange fees, international wiring fees and the amount listed on your bank statement may be different from the amount shown at checkout.

Practitioners receiving payouts in currencies other than USD acknowledge that conversion rates, timing, and fees are determined by third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe) or receiving banks. Munay is not responsible for any currency conversion, exchange rate fluctuations, delays, or fees applied by such third parties.

Munay shall not be responsible for any such fees and currency fluctuations and hereby disclaims all liability for differences in amounts charged, received, or recorded due to foreign exchange or related bank/processor fees. Both Customers and Practitioners accept full responsibility for any such costs or risks. 

All payouts are made only in USD. We suggest you contact your bank or credit card company or payment provider if you have any questions about the fees or the applicable exchange rates.

Practitioners are solely responsible for any local taxes that may apply to their payouts. Munay does not withhold or remit taxes except where legally required.


Munay Platform Fee

PractitionersWe charge a service fee to Practitioners for the use of our services (“Platform Fees”). The Munay Platform Fee is deducted from each payment for single sessions and multi-session bundles booked through the Munay Platform. Munay Platform Fee is charged at the rate published on the Munay Platform at the time of booking and calculated on the total service price paid by the Customer, exclusive of taxes or payment processor fees.

The Munay Platform Fee is withheld in escrow and automatically deducted before payout to the Practitioner. Practitioners acknowledge that they will receive net proceeds after deduction of the Munay Platform Fee, applicable taxes, and any third-party payment processing fees (e.g., Stripe). Payouts are processed within 2–5 business days after service confirmation, but timing is subject to payment processor and bank policies.

Platform Fee rates may vary among Practitioners. Certain Practitioners, such as founder members or those with special agreements with Munay, may receive discounted rates. Platform Fee rates may also be adjusted over time based on factors such as business volume or relationship with Munay. Munay cannot guarantee that any Practitioner’s Platform Fee rate will remain fixed, and all Practitioners acknowledge that their rate may change at Munay’s discretion.

Munay reserves the right to change Munay Platform Fee at any time and will notify the Practitioners of any fee changes before they become effective. Continued use of the Munay Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Platform Fee.

Customers

All purchases made through the Munay platform are subject to a service fee (the “Platform Fee”), which is currently set at 11% of the transaction total. This fee is applied to every transaction on the platform and helps support the ongoing operation, development, and curation of Munay. We reserve the right to adjust the Platform Fee at any time, in our sole discretion, based on market conditions or other factors. Any changes to the Platform Fee will take effect immediately upon being posted to the platform, and continued use of the services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated fee structure.


Processing Fee

Munay charges the Customers a processing fee for the use of the Munay Platform. The processing fee similar to the Munay Platform Fee will be applied to each purchase made on the Munay Platform.

The applicable processing fee will be displayed at checkout. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Munay may change the fees for your use of the Munay Platform for promotional offers or new products, and such changes will be effective when posted on the Website or as communicated via email correspondence.

The processing fee shall generally not be deducted from refunds. However, Munay reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to deduct applicable processing fees from refund amounts if the Customer is determined to be at fault for the cancellation, misuse of the platform, or other actions that violate these policies.

We reserve the right to change the processing fee at any time and will provide the Customers with notice of any fee changes before they become effective.


Credit Return Policy - Issue Reporting and Resolution

The User has up to 48 hours from the date of a service to report any issue related to that service. This does not override any statutory rights to dispute charges under local law.


Single Session Reschedules and Cancellations

Customer Cancellations – Single Sessions:a. Less Than 24 Hours Before Service: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service are non-refundable.b. More Than 24 Hours Before Service: You may cancel your service at any time more than 24 hours before the scheduled time and receive a full refund. You may also reschedule your service more than 24 hours before the start time.c. Provider Cancellations: If the provider cancels the service at any time and you choose not to reschedule, then you will receive a full refund.

Rescheduling – Single Sessions:Customers may reschedule a booked single session more than 24 hours before its scheduled start time. If less than 24 hours remain before the session, rescheduling is not permitted and the session will be considered forfeited. You may reschedule a session up to 3 times total.

Exceptions to the cancellation policy may apply in cases of documented emergency or mandatory legal rights.”


Series and Packages Reschedules and Cancellations

Customer Cancellations – Series of Sessions:Series cannot be canceled after purchase. Customers may reschedule upcoming sessions in a series if done more than 24 hours before the session start time, provided that all reschedules occur within 90 days of the original purchase date. Unused sessions expire after 90 days. You may reschedule a session up to 3 times total. Munay cannot guarantee availability in the final days of your Series. Sessions not completed will be forfeited per our policy.

Provider Cancellations – Series:If the provider cancels a session in a series package, the Customer may reschedule that individual session or request a refund for that canceled session only.  Where required by law, Customers may be entitled to a statutory withdrawal period before the first session begins.


Service Complaints and Refund Requests

Refund Eligibility

  • If you are dissatisfied with a service, or if a session does not take place due to provider absence or verified technical issues attributable to Munay’s platform, you may submit a complaint and refund request within forty-eight (48) hours of the scheduled service time.
  • Requests submitted after this period will not be considered.

Refund Procedure

  • Munay is not responsible for any fees, charges, or deductions imposed by banks, payment processors, or currency exchange providers. Such fees shall be borne exclusively by the Customer.
  • Refund processing times and the availability of refunded funds are subject solely to your bank’s or payment provider’s policies.
  • Refunds will be issued in U.S. Dollars (USD). For payments made in other currencies, the refund amount will be determined according to the exchange rate in effect on the date the refund is initiated.
  • Only one refund will be issued per purchased session.

Exclusions from Refunds No refund will be issued in the following cases:

  • The Customer has lost, forgotten, or otherwise misplaced login credentials (username/password), resulting in loss of access, data, or account availability.
  • The Customer experiences service interruption due to their own lack of internet access, device resets, software updates, or other issues outside Munay’s reasonable control.
  • Technical issues are found, upon review of Munay’s logs and records, to have originated from the Customer’s device, connection, or third-party software.

Discretionary Refunds: Munay may, at its sole discretion, grant refunds outside these stated conditions. Such exceptions shall not constitute a waiver of Munay’s rights or create any obligation to provide similar remedies in the future.

Limitation of Liability: Munay’s total liability for any claim, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees actually paid by the Customer to Munay in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.


Chargebacks

  1. Account Suspension In the event of a chargeback initiated by your bank or any third-party payment processor in connection with your purchase of a service or group session, Munay reserves the right to suspend or restrict access to any and all accounts associated with you until the matter is resolved.
  2. Responsibility for Fees You are solely responsible for all fees, penalties, and expenses incurred by Munay as a result of chargebacks or other payment disputes initiated by you, your bank, or a payment processor.
  3. Chargeback Policy Customers retain all statutory rights to file chargebacks under applicable cardholder protection laws. However, if a chargeback is initiated:
    • for a service that was duly delivered in accordance with its description, or
    • in contravention of Munay’s published refund procedures,
  4. such action shall be considered an abusive or fraudulent chargeback. In such cases, Munay reserves the right to:
    • (i) suspend or permanently terminate the associated account(s); and
    • (ii) pursue recovery of all direct losses, including but not limited to bank-imposed fees, administrative costs, and reasonable legal expenses, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
    • (iii) If a chargeback is initiated while a refund request is under review, Munay may treat this as breach of Refund and Payment Policy.

Inactive Account

If you do not log in to your Munay account for more than 180 consecutive days, your account may be suspended for inactivity. Any scheduled or unused services/sessions linked to the account will be automatically canceled, and you will not be entitled to any refund, reimbursement, or compensation for such cancellations.

Munay may, but is not obligated to, provide a notice or reminder prior to such suspension.


Deletion of an Account

  1. Effect on Booked Services
    • If you delete your account while you have scheduled services or sessions, such bookings will be automatically canceled.
    • Refund eligibility, if any, will be determined solely in accordance with the cancellation policy applicable to that service at the time of cancellation.
    • If the booked service was designated as non-refundable, you acknowledge and agree that no refund shall be provided, regardless of account deletion.
  2. Termination by Munay
    • If Munay suspends or terminates your account due to a breach of these Terms, you shall not be entitled to any refund or compensation for unused or scheduled services/sessions, whether refundable or non-refundable.
  3. Finality of Deletion
    • Once an account is deleted, you forfeit any right to request refunds or raise disputes related to prior bookings.
  4. No Stored Value
    • Munay does not operate as a financial institution, bank, e-wallet, or stored-value service. No funds are maintained in your account, and account deletion or termination does not create any right to withdraw funds or receive a cash settlement.
  5. Discretionary Exceptions
    • Munay may, at its sole discretion, elect to provide partial or full refunds or credits in exceptional circumstances. Such exceptions shall not constitute a waiver of Munay’s rights or create any obligation to do so in future cases.

Payment Services

Third-Party ProcessingAll payments on the Munay Platform are processed through third-party providers, including but not limited to Stripe and Wise. These providers allow Munay to:

  • (a) accept Customer payments without directly handling or storing credit/debit card details; and
  • (b) facilitate payouts to Practitioners in accordance with Munay’s policies and the processor’s terms.

Pre-Payment RequirementCustomers are required to pay in full at the time of booking. Services and group sessions are not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed by our payment partners.

Escrowed vs. Direct Payments

  • Escrowed Transactions: Certain sessions or bundles may be placed in escrow through Stripe Connect until the related service(s) are confirmed as delivered, at which point funds are released to the Practitioner (net of applicable fees).
  • Direct Transactions: For sessions not held in escrow, payment is collected on behalf of the Practitioner at booking and scheduled for payout in accordance with Munay’s payout policies.

For the avoidance of doubt, payment made by a Customer to Munay via Stripe or Wise shall constitute full satisfaction of the Customer’s payment obligation to the Practitioner.

Security of CheckoutMunay uses integrated iframe checkouts powered by its payment processors. All transactions are encrypted and processed directly by the third-party provider. Munay does not store sensitive cardholder data.

Payouts to PractitionersPractitioners receive payment for each confirmed service or session, net of platform fees, Platform Fees, and applicable adjustments. The timing, release, and availability of funds are determined solely by the policies of the relevant payment processor (e.g., Stripe, Wise).

Liability DisclaimerMunay is not a bank, financial institution, or stored-value service. Munay does not hold Customer funds as a deposit. Any delays, holds, or disputes related to payments or payouts are subject to the policies of the third-party processor and outside Munay’s control. 

If Munay determines a transaction is fraudulent or unauthorized, it reserves the right to cancel the booking, withhold payouts, and recover any funds already paid out.


Data Provided by You

Billing Information You agree and understand that any billing and payment information you provide in connection with the purchase of services or group sessions on the Munay Platform is collected and processed exclusively by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe or Wise). Munay does not collect, store, or otherwise process your full billing information (e.g., credit/debit card numbers).

Third-Party Responsibility The processing of payments is subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of the applicable third-party payment processor, in addition to this Policy. Munay shall not be responsible for any acts, omissions, or failures of such processors to protect your information adequately.

Security Measures Third-party processors use industry-standard security measures, including but not limited to SSL encryption and comparable technologies, to protect payment information during transmission. Munay does not guarantee or warrant the security of such technologies, which are outside of its control.

Change of ProcessorsMunay may, at its sole discretion, change its third-party payment processors from time to time. In such cases, you authorize the transfer and processing of your billing information by the new processor(s), subject to the same security standards.

Nothing in these Terms affects any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.


Customer Payments

Accepted MethodsPayments on the Munay Platform may be made using the following methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. This list may be updated at Munay’s sole discretion from time to time.

Platform RequirementAll payments for services booked through the Munay Platform must be made exclusively via the Munay Platform. Direct or off-platform payments to Practitioners are strictly prohibited and shall not be recognized by Munay.

Pre-Payment RequirementCustomers are required to pay in full at the time of booking. Services are not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed by our third-party payment processor(s).

Escrow and Series of Sessions

  • For single sessions, payments are collected on behalf of the Practitioner at booking and scheduled for payout in accordance with Munay’s payout policies.
  • For series or bundles of sessions, funds may be held in escrow through Stripe Connect and released to the Practitioner only as sessions are confirmed as delivered, in accordance with Munay’s escrow and payout rules.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, payment made by the Customer to Munay through Stripe shall constitute full satisfaction of the Customer’s payment obligation for services purchased on the Platform.

Transaction FeesCustomers are solely responsible for any transaction fees, foreign exchange charges, or costs imposed by their bank, card issuer, or payment provider in connection with payments made on the Munay Platform.

Finality of PaymentPayments are considered complete once successfully processed by Munay’s payment processor(s). Munay does not hold funds as a bank, trustee, or stored-value service.


Practitioner Payouts

  1. Confirmed Services Practitioners receive payment only for confirmed services or sessions booked and completed through the Munay Platform. For series or bundles, payments may be released in stages as sessions are confirmed, in accordance with Munay’s escrow and payout policies.
  2. Third-Party Payment Processors To receive payment, Practitioners must maintain an active account with one of the third-party payment processors integrated with the Munay Platform, such as Stripe or Wise. All payouts are facilitated directly by these providers through secure transactions.
  3. Transaction Fees and Deductions Third-party processors charge fees for each transaction and may apply currency exchange rates. These charges are automatically deducted from the Practitioner’s payout amount. Munay does not control, reimburse, or assume responsibility for such fees or exchange rate differences.
  4. Finality of Payouts Payouts are considered complete once funds are released by the third-party processor to the Practitioner’s designated account. Munay is not responsible for delays, holds, or errors attributable to the processor or the Practitioner’s receiving bank.
  5. Taxes Practitioners are solely responsible for reporting and remitting any applicable taxes in their country of residence. Munay does not issue tax summaries unless required by law, but may provide basic transaction records.”

Nothing in this Refund and Payment Policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights that may apply in your jurisdiction. In the event of a conflict, local laws shall prevail.
